OPTIONAL: If you are not interested in any of the topics from your book, you may write a research paper on the negative effects of using technology, more specifically social media. You will still need to do research and find 5 sources that will help develop your ideas. Your primary source will be the docu-drama "The Social Dilemma." The negative consequences highlighted in the movie will be the area in which you will do your research. Students interested in this topic must schedule a short ZOOM conference with the instructor, Esther Clark, to discuss the specifics.
