Your Assignment

Your assignment requires you to conduct research in order to explore one of the immigration "waves" you descend from. Based on your research, you will write a five-page paper using at least three sources that includes information about the immigration group, the conditions that caused them to leave their country of origin, the process of their journey to the United States, the conditions they faced upon arrival, and the impact this had/has on U.S. culture.
