Your Assignment

Your assignment requires you to conduct research in order to explore one wave of immigration to the United States. Your research will examine the following: 

  • The conditions in the homeland that influenced emigration
  • The journey
  • The conditions upon arrival in the United States
  • The cultural influence this wave of immigration had on the United Stated

You will write a paper based on your research, citing the sources you used.
