Working with the chapter of Chicana Movidas assigned to your group, settle on different topics to research in order to respond to the author’s representation of the specific movida. Topics can be information that relates to the social, cultural, or historical context of the movida, or information that relates to other issues or conditions that we need to know about in order to understand the importance of the movida, or connections to other movidas past or future that relate to what these women accomplished. In other words, you are finding ways to respond to the chapter with research to explore this particular movida’s importance and significance.
