Your Assignment

Purpose and Task

This project invites you to explore through research how "monsters" are created, depicted, and deployed in U.S. society, especially as they related to people of color broadly and Chicano/e people specifically.

Compose a thesis-driven research project based on a critical question about either Zoot Suit or Chicano Frankenstein.

Your research question should be based on one of the research questions in your assignment instructions questions.

Sources

Use concrete evidence from at least 5 credible sources (at least 7 if you are working as a group) to support your claims.

Include at least two scholarly sources (at least 4 if you are working as a group) such as peer-reviewed academic journal articles or chapters from academic/scholarly books.
