Pacific Pride Foundation proudly provides services to the HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ+ communities of Santa Barbara County. All of our programs are free or low-cost at our locations in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria.

The Santa Barbara Transgender Advocacy Network educates individuals and organizations on best practices for transgender & gender expansive clients, patients, students, congregants and families; creates and develops spaces, actions, and policies that advance the welfare of transgender and diverse gender non-conforming individuals, their families, and allies in California's Central Coast communities.

The Center helps students and our communities facilitate resiliency skills, cultivate self-awareness, manifest self-empowerment, and build community in order to become values-based leaders.

The Anti-Defamation League’s Santa Barbara/Tri-Counties Office serves Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo Counties, combating all forms of hatred and bigotry. We handle victim complaints of all forms of discrimination.

In 2020, HRC tracked a record number of violent fatal incidents against transgender and gender non-conforming people. A total of 44 fatalities were tracked by HRC, marking 2020 as the most violent year on record since HRC began tracking these crimes in 2013.

The Center for Transyouth Health and Development at Children's Hospital Los Angeles promotes healthy futures for transgender youth by providing services, research, training, and capacity building that is developmentally informed, affirmative, compassionate, and holistic for gender nonconforming children and transgender youth. GLAAD tackles tough issues to shape the narrative and provoke dialogue that leads to cultural change. GLAAD protects all that has been accomplished and envisions a world with 100% LGBTQ acceptance.

The National Center for Transgender Equality advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people. In the nation’s capital and throughout the country, NCTE works to replace disrespect, discrimination, and violence with empathy, opportunity, and justice.

A project of Community Partners, we are a Los Angeles-based family support group creating a positive environment for children, adolescents and their families to explore issues of gender identity.

TYFA empowers children and families by partnering with educators, service providers and communities, to develop supportive environments in which gender may be expressed and respected.

Welcoming Schools is the most comprehensive bias-based bullying prevention program in the nation to provide LGBTQ+ and gender inclusive professional development training, lesson plans, booklists and resources specifically designed for educators and youth-serving professionals.
