Your Assignment

Topic

You will write an 1,800-word research paper examining how the Roberts Court (2005-present) has interpreted the meaning of 4th, 5th, or 6th Amendment. You will examine at least three cases from the Roberts Court Era in which one of these Amendments was a major focus of the Court's decision. You will then develop a thesis about the three cases and provide evidence that supports your thesis.

Sources

  • Three Supreme Court Cases, from 2005 to the present, in which Justice John Roberts is indicated as the “Chief Justice” in the case
  • Three additional sources such as books and/or law review articles
