The Research Process

The following video tutorial provides a step-by-step approach to the research process. Having a list of steps can help guide you, but keep in mind that research can be a messy, nonlinear process, and that's OK! Finding Background Information Through the Library

Encyclopedias and other reference books are an excellent starting point for your research. They can provide background information and help you identify keywords to use when searching for books and articles.
