  • Get Help provides information about all the help available from the library.
  • Use the Textbooks / Reserves link for temporary online access to your textbooks.
  • Select A-Z Databases for a complete list of the library’s online research databases. Databases are subscription websites provided by the library. They include the full text of articles, books, and other sources. Watch the Why use library search tools when you have Google? video to learn more about what you can find through Google, through library databases, and through OneSearch.
  • Use A-Z Periodicals to see whether the library subscribes to the full text of a specific periodical (magazine, newspaper, or scholarly journal), such as the New York Times.
  • My Library Account allows you to log into OneSearch to renew your checked out items, place holds on materials from the Luria Library, request materials from other libraries through interlibrary loan, and create favorites lists, See the Manage Your Account page of the OneSearch Help Guide for instructions.

  • The Chromebook Guide provides information about borrowing and using library Chromebooks.
  • See the Services for Online Students guide for information about how the library supports online students.
  • Research Guides provide tips, tutorials, and links to resources for research on specific subjects or for specific courses and assignments.
  • Citation Guides included detailed guidelines for creating citations in MLA, APA, and other citation styles.
  • The Tutorials guide includes links to a selection of the library’s videos and interactive tutorials on doing research, using sources effectively and appropriately, and thinking critically about information. Ask a librarian to suggest additional tutorials.
  • The Services for Faculty guide provides information about Luria Library resources and services available to SBCC faculty.
